The Impacts of High-Quality Workplace Relationships on Job Performance: A Perspective on Staff Nurses in Vietnam

Responses to classmates must consist of at least 350 words (not including the greeting and the references), do NOT repeat the same thing your classmate is saying, try to add something of value like a resource, educational information to give to patients, possible bad outcomes associated with the medicines discussed in the case, try to include a sample case you've seen at work and discuss how you feel about how that case was handled. Try to use supportive information such as current Tx guidelines, current research related to the treatment, anything that will enhance learning in the online classroom. Healthcare is a multi-faceted field that can at times present numerous challenges. This is particularly the case when analyzing the relationships between co-workers. Healthy workplace relationships receive a lot of interest since they are associated with the benefits of employees and achieving the goals of the organization (Tran, Nguyen, Dang, & Ton, 2018). As with many industries, healthcare requires individuals to possess strong communication, listening, and problem-solving skills. Otherwise, professionals will face challenges when trying to communicate with others. Accountability is also a critical factor that clinicians must master to be successful. While completing the Crucial Accountability Questionnaire, I was reminded of the importance of both communication and accountability in the workplace. I realize that I tend to avoid confrontations that require lengthy discussions among personnel. Also, I usually speak up when conflict arises but may not always have a viable solution to these issues. I understand that it is just as important to create a solution to issues as it is to point out weaknesses in current processes. Addressing the silence to violence issues in healthcare is also an essential component for improving the healthcare environment. Health professionals must be mindful of co-worker behaviors and manage challenging personalities effectively. Violence should never be the answer in any situation. However, individuals who do not feel heard may resort to this behavior in frustration. It takes a special leader to manage these types of issues effectively. One of my previous managers was great at problem-solving. She emphasized the importance of communication and making everyone feel included to avoid these issues from occurring. Reference: Tran, K.
