The information from this entity has also been endorsed by many health care organizations (Canadian institute-b, 2014). The Agree II assesses the transparency and rigour related to guidelines and practices. There were areas that were refined to better meet the needs of the user (Canadian institute-c, 2014; Canadian institute-b, 2014). There is also an Agree3 (Application, Appropriateness, Action) that is based on a conceptual model called Guideline Implementability for Decision Excellence Model (GUIDE-M) (Canadian institute-d, 2014). The Agree II guidelines for evaluation can be related to the patient care. For instance, the effectiveness of blood glucose monitoring in patients with Type 2 Diabetes, reviewing the daily dosage post heart attack, and decreased in colon cancer due to occult blood screening. The guideline that is of interest and benefit is rigour of development. This guideline considers benefits, risk, and side effects of recommendations. These include but are not limit to survival, adverse effects symptoms, and quality of life (Canadian Institute, 2017). This was chosen because it is driven by data related to harm, benefits, and side effects (Canadian Institute, 2017). There are examples of other implementations. For instance, the guidelines related to juvenile idiopathic arthritis. The Agree II Instrument showed that there was variability, but no conflict in progression of treatment related to pharmacology (Smith et al, 2015). Another example is related to the quality of practice of Melanoma. The Agree II Instrument showed that the guidelines were of high methodological quality (Steeb et al, 2020).
