Grand Canyon – Constructivist instruction is not as much about getting the right answer

Constructivist instruction is not as much about getting the right answer as it is about trying out active processes and being able to communicate and analyze those processes and the thinking and learning that occurred as a result of them. Discuss how you will encourage students to think beyond the right answer.

After reviewing your state’s learning standards for mathematics in the early grades, what areas do you need to research in order to teach those skills? What steps will you take to learn those concepts and skills?
